Jessy has been planning a surprise engagement for his (now) fiance Corina for awhile. Corina's sister reached out to me asking if I would be available to capture it. Ummmm, absolutely I am!!! I mean what an amazing thing to be a part of!
Jessy had a date night dinner planned out where he would take Corina and with the help of his and her family, the area would be ready for his big question when they arrived. When I got there, Corina's sister walked me out to the wooded area where the path was lined with lights and at the end of it, an arch that he built was set up and decorated with her favorite colors. He spent so much time and thought into it, it was seriously the sweetest thing ever!! When we got word that they were on their way, the family disappeared and I hid in the trees (and felt a little weird) and waited. I could see when they arrived and was able to get photos of Jessy leading a blindfolded Corina my way. At the entrance of the walkway, he took off her blindfold, and cue the huge smiles and giggles. I stayed as far away as my lens allowed me so the focus was on each other and not the weirdo lurking in the bushes. He led Corina to the center of the petals and gave her his speech, got down on one knee and proposed. And of course she said yes!!
I gave Jessy and Corina a few moments alone to process what just happened without some weirdo watching. They took several minutes and when they were ready, they came and found me. I took just a couple more photos of them together then let them head back up to the house where their family was waiting.
Congratulations Jessy and Corina!!!!
