My sister called me up and asked if I could squeeze them in for a fall session. They don't live nearby but luckily I had some time on a weekend that they were planning on being in town. I told her that if I'm doing their fall family portraits, they have to model for my Christmas Minis and she excitedly agreed even tho the boys reaction was the complete opposite ha.
We met at the studio a bit before dinner to start with the Christmas look. She found some clothes they already had that would work with both of the sets I put together and we started. My nephew turns into limp spaghetti after about 5 mins in front of the camera. I will take the time to adjust a mostly limp little boy and as soon as I walk away he melts out of his pose ha. But I am used to the cutie and his dislike for aunt Cassi's photography.
When we were done in the studio, they all changed into their fall colors and off to the park we went. The light was in a gorgeous spot making the pond sparkle and the leaves were beautiful. I've said it before but will say it again, I love that location with the light leaking through the trees. It puts off such a beautiful warm glow.
Once the sun came down a little bit more we visited a few other spots at the park and ended in the field at the entry. My nephew made it through it and then as a reward, got to have a sleepover with his cousin at Grandma and Grandpa's house.
